Volunteering at Trailside Museums & Zoo and Beyond

We offer a variety of programs, educational opportunities and natural research and stewardship in large part thanks to our passionate and dedicated volunteers and interns. Volunteer positions are intended to be mutually beneficial. We further our mission of connecting people with nature and enjoy the benefits of your hard work and positive energy and you receive education and experiences in a professional and natural setting. From teens to elders, volunteers enrich and aid Trailside in many ways.

We seek volunteers who care about our visitors, nature education, and conservation. We welcome volunteers who are respectful and helpful, curious, hardworking, and dedicated. Due to the seasonal nature of our needs, opportunities are most plentiful spring through fall.
